Ad Tracking for November 20, 2011

I’ve been tracking my ads in Instant Splash for a couple of weeks now. I have 22 capture pages that I’m tracking right now. I run ads on Traffic Exchanges, Safelists, Text Ad Exchanges, some paid ads, etc., and they all lead to the same capture page.

I created all of my capture pages in the Instant Splash program, which pays a 50% commission to upgraded members ($9.99/mo)

The first time I ran the numbers I had 8 folks fill out the form to continue to my PTC Income Splash page, which puts them on my Easy PTC mailing list at Traffic Wave. This is a 0.14% click thru rate on a total of 5, 876 exposures. Of those 8 only one joined the mailing list (a 12.5% sign-up rate).

This week, I had a total of 11,378 exposures with 28 folks filling out my capture form. A click thru rate of 0.25%. Of those 28, 15 signed up for the mailing list! An awesome 53.57%% conversion rate!

Those 28 folks who took the first step on the ladder to financial independence came through just 8 of the 22 capture pages I’m pushing.

1 came from my own personal list, which includes those folks on my Traffic Wave list as well as those folks who only take the first step, or have joined me in other endeavors.

4 came from my ad with Rent-A-List and 3 of those took the second step and are now on my Traffic Wave list.

3 came from a PTC ad with EarnEasyCash and 6 came from my mailings to several safelists. 4 of those 6 also took the second step.

1 came from a text ad with Ricochet Riches and 2 more came from solo mailings to Text Ad Exchanges.

Another ad with Rent-A-List brought in 2 more and they both took the second step.

And finally, 9 came from an ad with Planet Traffic, with 4 of them joining my Easy PTC mailing list.

I’ve spent $32 on ads this week, which have brought me 12 new members to my mailing list. On average, each member on a mailing list is worth $1 a month, so those 12 new folks will generate about $144 for me over the next year. Not a bad ROI for 1 week.

Adding Up Pennies With PTCs, Part 1

Anatomy of a PTC Spreadsheet
(If you have problems reading the sample spreadsheets, hold the "Ctrl" key and press the "+" key to zoom in.)

In talking about leveraging the pennies you earn from your daily surfing thru various Paid-To-Click (PTC) programs, it is necessary to be able to keep track of what you are doing and the progress you are making every day.

I like to use a spreadsheet to track my daily efforts and rewards. I know that you probably know more than I do about spreadsheets, but I’m going to assume that there is somebody out there who really has no idea what I’m talking about, so bear with me while I try to explain things to them.

A spreadsheet is a program that allows you to put data into a series of rows and columns. The rows are numbered (1, 2, 3, etc.) and the columns are lettered (A, B, C, etc.) and any cell can be identified such as cell C5 in the above picture.

The above picture shows how I have my columns labeled. Please notice that the labels are all on row 2. That is because I have a set of formulas in row 1 that add up my daily efforts.

You can see in cell F1 the formula that I put in columns F, G, H and I. This is inserted in the cell by placing your curser in the desired cell and then typing the formula. It must start with the equals sign (=) and it will reference the column that it is in: f3:f23, g3:g23, h3:h23 and i3:i23.

The result is to add up all of the entries in the column from row 3 thru row 23.

Now, I label row 25, columns E, F, G, H and I the same as in row 2.

Next, I insert the formula =$F$1 in F26 and a corresponding formula in columns G, H and I as well. This locks the cells in row 26 to the data in row 1.

Now I have a sample spreadsheet showing that I joined programs A Bux thru D Bux on April 19th and earned 4 cents from each one by reading their ads. Cell F1 shows that I earned 16 cents and that is reflected in cell F26.

After I have completed my surfing for the day, I go to cell A26 and use the keys “Alt I R” which inserts a new row 26, moving all of the other rows down one space.

By clicking on the row number 27, I select the whole row, copy it and paste it in row 26 and then use the “Paste Special – values” function to paste row 27 back in row 27, converting the formulas to numbers.

Next, I insert the formula “=E27+1” in cell E26. This changes the date.

Now I add one more formula to the mix. “=F26-F27” goes in cell D26 and the Column label “Daily Earnings” goes in cell D25. I am now ready for my 2nd day surfing PTC sites

The next day, I join 2 more programs and surf all 6, bringing my earnings to 40 cents (cell F1) and I show daily earnings of 24 cents (cell D26)

After I am done surfing, I go to cell A26 and use the keys “Alt I R” which inserts a new row 26, moving all of the other rows down one space.

By clicking on the row number 27, I select the whole row, copy it and paste it in row 26 and then use the “Paste Special – values” function to paste row 27 back in row 27, converting the formulas to numbers. I am now ready for the next day.

In Part 2. I will start showing you how I track referrals and the money I make from their efforts.

In the meantime, if you want to see the PTC programs that I belong to and promote, you can go to my PTC page.

I have instructions elsewhere on my blog site for surfing several TEs and PTCs at on time here.

How to earn money with NeoBux

1. Join NeoBux here.
2. Log into NeoBux.
3. Click on ”View Advertisements” on the top center of the page.
4. As soon as you click on an ad, a red dot will appear. Click on it and this opens a new tab. Once the ad has shown for the proper amount of time, it will say “Advertisement validated” in the top bar. You can now close the tab and return to the advertising page.
5. Select another ad to watch.
6. Once you have watched your 4 ads for the day, return to your account (click your username on the top right side of page).
7. You can now see your account balance under Account, in the middle of the page.
8. To earn even more money, you can rent referrals for as little as 10 referrals for 2.00 cents (20 cents each).
9. To rent referrals, you must first add some funds to your rental balance by clicking on the “Rental Balance” link in the Accounts section. You can use AlertPay, PayPal, Net Teller or transfer from your main balance. The minimum you can add from these sources is $5.00, except you can transfer as little as $1.00 from your main account.
10. After you have completed your fund transfer, click on “Referrals” (The green bar above the graph). Now select the rental package of your choice and click on the shopping basket. For $5.00 you can rent 25 referrals for 30 days.
11. Now click on “Rented Referrals” on the left side of the page. I recommend enabling the Autopay feature. If you have AutoPay enabled, on the first click a referral makes per day, you'll pay to keep that referral for an extra day. If the referral does not click, you won't pay him for another day. While it's easier to pay this way, it's also cheaper for you because you save 15% of a whole month's rent.
12. You can now see all of your referrals and follow their progress: number of clicks, amount of earnings, last day clicked, etc.
13. I click on the column title “Last Click” to see how my referrals are doing.
14. If you find one that is not performing to your satisfaction, (I give them at least a week of no activity before trading them in.) you can recycle him or her for a new referral for 7 cents. Just click on the green arrows to the right side of that referral. I don’t recycle them unless they have at least 14 days left on their cycle. If they don’t
15. Now you can click on “Banners” on the left side of the page and grab your affiliate URL and Banner Codes to start advertising for direct referrals.

PTC Pennies + TE + Ctrl + Tab = Dollars

The real secret to success is to have a workable plan and to follow it faithfully. The following is my plan and you are more than welcome to adapt it to your own circumstances.

For starters, I have discovered the potential inherent in the Paid-To-Click (PTC) programs. Although these programs only pay a penny a click (some even less), you can leverage your pennies into dollars.

For example, if you click 4 ads a day you will end up with a whole $1.20 after 30 days. So what? How about if you have 20 of these programs and you work each one daily. That adds up to $24.00 for the 30 days. It’s a start…

These PTCs almost all have a minimum of $2 for pay out, so I’ll have to go 50 days to reach that level, at which time I’ll have $40 that I can pool and use to start renting referrals!

Renting referrals? What’s that, you ask…for a small sum, I can rent referrals and as they start clicking and earning pennies for themselves, they will also be earning me some pennies. Again, most PTCs pay one-half cent for each click by a referral. (some pay less)

So say it cost me $5.00 to rent 20 referrals and they each click their 4-a-day, that means that they will be adding 40 cents a day to my account. (20x4x0.5=40)

My $40 pool can be used to increase my daily earnings by a factor of 10 on 8 different programs. My 4 cents a day plus my referrals 40 cents adds up to $13.20 every 30 days.

So now I’m looking at $105.60 every 30 days for those 8 sites and another $14.40 from the 12 sites that don’t have any referrals, yet.

Of course, I plan on re-investing my earnings for about 6 months into renting referrals as well as recruiting direct referrals. As soon as my earnings allow me to, I also plan on upgrading, which pays even more.

Now for the neat part…the easy way to both advertise my programs and get my clicks with a minimum of time and effort.
By setting up ads in several different Traffic Exchanges (TEs) and utilizing the Ctrl + Tab feature of the FireFox browser, I can open up my TEs and one PTC program in several different tabs. Just by holding the Ctrl key down and hitting the Tab key, I can go from one tab to the next, click on the timers for the TEs and open an ad in the PTC.

While the PTC ad is loading for the 30 second timer, I continue tabbing thru and clicking on the TEs that I have open.

Once I have clicked my 4 ads in the PTC program, I close that one and open another and continue the sequence.

The PTC programs only allow you to click on the ads once every 24 hours, so I set a time in the morning and in the evening to follow my routine.

By following this routine, I am not only earning my daily pennies, I am advertising for my PTC programs to leverage the referrals aspect of the PTCs.

My GDI DreamCatcher

If you are one of the many folks who have tried GDI and given up
on it or just have had no luck building a network, hope MAY be on
the horizon.

Welcome my GDI DreamCatcher!
http://instantsplash.com/s/67703

I have put together a duplicatable system that works on the
principal of 6 people working together to get those 6 each 6 new
members.

They all advertise the same capture page which features just one
of the members of the DreamCatcher until that member has 6 and
then the target of the DreamCatcher is changed to the next
member.

The system teaches each member that as they start getting
signups, he or she starts a new DreamCatcher for his or her 6 and
shows them how to do the same.

If this sounds like something you would like to look into
further, just follow this link.

Comparison Pricing on TE Credits

One of my downline members in the GDI Coop asked me today if I knew of any good places to buy advertising.

Well, you and I both know that there are a lot of them out there, right?

So I decided to do some comparison shopping for the best buys in the top traffic exchanges.

I took a look at the top 5 programs in both Traffic Hoopla and Affiliate Funnel and I found 3 programs that were in the top 5 for both programs.

Hits Booster Pro, Hit2Hit and Traffic Splash all made the top 5.

Now, these figures are only for the number of site hits you can get with a one-time purchase.
Hit2Hit charges $10 for 1000 hits or 1 cent per hit.
Hits Booster Pro charges $7.95 for 1000 hits or 0.8 cents per hit.
Traffic Splash charges $7.99 per 1000 hits or 0.8 cents per hit.

Now, if you look at the lowest level for each program’s monthly subscription, you get the following:

Hit2Hit charges $5.95 for 250 hits or 2.4 cents per hit.
Hits Booster Pro charges $3.95 for 600 hits or 0.7 cents per hit.
Traffic Splash charges $4.97 per 200 hits or 2.5 cents per hit.

Keep in mind that with the monthly subscriptions you are also going to be getting other benefits: banner credit, text credits, higher commissions, better surfing exchange rates and so on.

You need to take a close look at the various upgrade options yourself.

I cannot, at this time, tell you which TE is better at delivering the hits, but since they are all in 2 different ‘Top 5s”, you can probably make a reasonable assumption that they do a pretty good job, or the users wouldn’t vote for them.

If nothing else, these figures should give you something to measure against when you get one of One-time offers as you join a site.

If you would like a copy of my full analysis of the top 10 in each program, drop me a note and ask for the cost comparison spreadsheet.

Custom Antler Carvings and Other Creations 10-24-10

For those of you that are not familiar with me, my name is Knight C Duerig and I live in King Hill, Idaho and I do custom carving in Deer and Elk antlers. I have also worked with Moose and Caribou antlers as well as Ram’s Horn.
I first began carving antlers back in the mid eighties as a hobby. After getting married in 1987, I dropped the carving for the more important job of raising a family, and then picked it up again in 2003. I’ve been carving fairly steady now for the past 7 years.
Although self-taught as far as carving goes, I have had a small amount of formal training in art: 2 semesters of painting, 2 semesters of pottery and 1 semester of silversmithing back in my college days.
I am currently an active member of the Visual Arts Committee of the Mountain Home (Idaho) Arts Council.
Besides carving antlers, I have also done some wood carving for walking sticks and walking staffs and I work with a wood lathe.
I market my work several different ways…I have my own website, Knight's Crafts, that is basically a gallery of the work that I have done. It can stimulate your imagination. (I like to say that I’m only limited by your imagination.) I keep current items that are for sale on my Etsy site and I show my work at art and craft shows here in Idaho.

Here is an update on my Etsy site.

This past week, I have added three items: a Big Horn Ram carving mounted on an Apricot base, a Polar Bear Pendent and an Apple Walking Stick.

I hope that you will take a few minutes and do some window shopping. If you are looking for something special, I have a gift certificate program. You set the amount you want to spend and your friend gets to have a custom carving done to his or her taste. Just email me for details.

I also mentor online marketing thru the following site: My Team Builder Pro if you’re interested.

Text Ad Exchange Analysis

This is today’s update of my text ad exchange advertising campaigns.

By my tracking things this way, you will be able to see just how effective text exchange advertising can be.

For efficiency, I have all of the text ad exchange programs that I belong to listed in a spread sheet, and each one is assigned to a day of the week. This way, I hit each exchange once a week.

I open my spread sheet and start clicking on the programs that are listed for today. (You can also set the day’s text ad exchanges in a favorites folder and then open them that way.)

Today’s programs:

Tigers Roar has gone from 491 members to 490 in the past week. I started with 21,000 Banner impressions and 22 solo ads available. The cumulative click thru rate since September 12th on the banners is 2.24% this week. The average solo ad went from a 2.77% click thru rate to 2.70%.

Devilish Ads has gone from 230 members to 231 in the past week. I started with 40,000 Banner impressions and 55 solo ads available. The cumulative click thru rate since September 12th on the banners is 1.96% this week. The average solo ad went from a 3.15% click thru rate to 3.14%.

Drive-Inn Ads has grown from 344 members to 349 in the past week. I started with 5,500 Banner impressions and 10 solo ads available. The cumulative click thru rate since September 19th on the banners is 1.68% this week. The average solo ad went from a 0.97% click thru rate to 1.15%.

Heavy Hitter has gone from 634 members to 633 in the past week. I started with 3,000 Banner impressions and 2 solo ads available. The cumulative click thru rate since September 26th on the banners is 0.0% this week. The average solo ad went from a 2.21% click thru rate to 2.21%.

Freedom Traffic has grown from 427 members to 429 in the past week. I started with 25,500 Banner impressions and 30 solo ads available. The cumulative click thru rate since October 3rd on the banners is 0.82% this week. The average solo ad went from a 1.17% click thru rate to 0.82%.

E-Share Ads has grown from 234 members to 238 in the past week. I started with 20,750 Banner impressions and 30 solo ads available. The cumulative click thru rate since October 10th on the banners is 1.27% this week. The average solo ad has a 1.68% click thru rate.

Now I can simply resend my solo ad in each program or I can choose to start a new solo ad campaign. Each campaign should run 5-7 mailings for the best results.

I started sending the same solo ad for my Antler Carving website to each text ad exchange that I belong to on the 6th of October and will be following my own advice and running this campaign for 5-7 weeks with weekly updates

As usual, the next step is to join at least one more program today. (I belong to a program that lists over 200 text ad exchanges and has promo codes for all of them.)

I joined Mountain Top Ads today and with all of my promos, I ended up with 20 Banner Ads, 15 Button Ads, 15 Solo Ads, 5 Hot Link Ads, 5 Traffic Link Ads and 5 Login Ads. (All free, of course.)

When you join any of these programs, email me and I’ll send you the link to get the promo codes for each of them.

Text Ad Exchange Analysis for Saturday, 10-16-10

This is the daily update of my text ad exchange advertising campaigns.

Super Text Ads has grown from 239 members to 264 in the past week. I started with 3,000 Banner impressions and 5 solo ads available. The cumulative click thru rate on the banners since September 25th was 3.01% last week and is 0.91% this week. The average solo ad click thru rate went from a 16.74% to 5.21%.

Smokey Mountain Ads went from 156 members to 159 in the past week. I started with 25,500 Banner impressions and 30 solo ads available. The cumulative click thru rate on the banners since October 2nd was 0.0% last week and is 2.51% this week. The average solo ad click thru rate went from a 1.92% to 1.26%.

Daily Talk Ads has grown from 755 members to 896 in the past week. I started with 10,750 Banner impressions and 18 solo ads available. The cumulative click thru rate on the banners since October 2nd was 1.018% last week and is 4.90% this week. The average solo ad click thru rate went from a 1.77% to 4.91%.

Da Place 2 Be went from 344 members to 357 in the past week. I started with 20,000 Banner impressions and 26 solo ads available. The cumulative click thru rate on the banners since October9th is still 0.0%. The average solo ad click thru rate is also 0.0%

Now I can simply resend my solo ad in each program by clicking on one link and then hitting the resend button in each program or I can choose to start a new solo ad campaign. Each campaign should run 5-7 mailings for the best results.

I started sending the same solo ad for my Antler Carving website to each text ad exchange that I belong to on the 6th of October and will be following my own advice and running this Antler Carving campaign for 5-7 weeks.

I have a splash page set up that captures the name and email of everyone who continues to my target site.

I also started tracking all of my ads with the Google URL Shortening program. I will be updating the weekly stats on my Saturday blog. The stats since the 6th for my splash page show hits from text ad exchange banners (20) and solo ads (354). I am also using safelists (330) and traffic exchanges (501).

Keep in mind that I am running a total of 10 different banners for 10 different programs on these text ad exchanges, so the 20 hits from the banners is deceptive. That is 20 hits to just one of my banners.

I have gained 5 more people for my Antler Carving mailing list and made 1 sale this week.

As usual, the next step is to join at least one more program today. (I belong to a program that lists over 200 text ad exchanges and has promo codes for all of them.)

I joined Pirate Traffic today and with all of my promos, I ended up with 130 Banner Ads, 15 Button Ads, 30 Solo Ads, 5 Hot Link Ads, 5 Traffic Link Ads and 5 Login ads. (All free, of course.)

When you join any of these programs, email me and I’ll send you the link to get the promo codes for each of them.
